Thursford ‘Bring & Borrow’ Library
The 'Bring & Borrow' Library is located inside the Red Telephone Box on The Green.
The Red Telephone Box on The Green is houses the village’s defibrillator, alongside which is a collection of second-hand books covering a wide range of topics; donated by local people.
Anyone from or staying in the village is invited to take a book/s on free loan. Please return the books when you have finished reading it/them.
There is no charge for borrowing a book, nor is there a time limit.
The Volunteers who run the service, welcome you to deposit a few books from your personal collection if there is room on the shelves. We also accept jigsaws.
Please do not leave books or jigsaws on the floor of the telephone box, as this gets damp.
